MORE ABOUT

ANNE PROCTER

I'm Anne Procter, a Games Designer specialising in Gameplay and Level Design. I graduated from Falmouth University with a 1st Class Honours in Game Development: Design.

I work primarily in Unity, but also have substantial experience in Unreal.

Although Design is my first love, I have a lot of experience in other disciplines having also worked on Audio Design, VFX, Animation, Programming, as a Scrum Master and as a Vision Holder for various different projects.

Currently I am solo developing Backstage at Midnight, a top down Roguelike, and have recently formed a team with the help of Falmouth University to develop City of Styles a unique project I would describe as an "anti-character creator aimed at LGBTQIA+ awareness.

Previously I released Descension as part of the team What the Wizard?! which went on to win Best 2nd Year Game at the Falmouth Games EXPO, and Penny in the Northwest Woods a visual novel / dungeon crawler aimed at very young audiences.

My most recently released project is Smash Hammer a 3D person action movement game, which I developed as part of the team Full Suit. I highly recommend checking it out!

Outside of Game Development, I am a Scout Leader, until recently served as president of the Kernow Student Scouts and Guides Organisation, and am an avid TTRPG fan, running and playing in several different campaigns at any given time.

I am also an amateur artist and trombonist, and a long term tea fanatic.

Prior to moving to Cornwall to study, I worked in the Insurance Industry, as a Subsidence Specialist Claims Technician, a Project Administrator and an MI administrator across two different firms.
